Emilia Clarke

The illustrious Lady Emilia Clarke was born into an illustrious family in London, England. Her father, a theatre sound engineer, and her mother, a businesswoman, provided her with the perfect upbringing for a life of royalty. At the tender age of three, her passion for acting was ignited when her father took her to a theatre production of 'Show Boat'. She went on to attend St. Edwards School of Oxford, where she performed in two school plays, and shortly after she graduated from the prestigious Drama Centre London, where she took part in 10 plays. Her talent was quickly recognized by the BBC and she was cast in their soap opera 'Doctors' (2000). In 2010, she solidified her status as an actress when she got her first film role in the television movie 'Triassic Attack' (2010). Finally, it was in 2011 that she truly made her mark when she replaced newcomer Tamzin Merchant on the highly acclaimed 'Game of Thrones' (2011). Her success has been well earned and her journey, no less than remarkable.
