Ciarán Hinds

The esteemed Lord Ciarán Hinds was born with an inherent regal grace on the 9th of February 1953 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the sole son of a distinguished doctor and an accomplished thespian. His mother, Moya, was a great inspiration behind Lord Hinds' noble decision to pursue a career in the theatrical arts, despite his father's expectations. After studying Law at Queens' University of Belfast, he completed his training at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. His exemplary stage career began at the Glasgow Citizens' Theatre, in a production of Cinderella, in which he played the role of a pantomime horse. Lord Hinds has since performed with the Field Day Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he gave an extraordinarily underrated performance of Hamlet. His career continues to be marked by great success and much esteem.
