Michael Shannon

The esteemed Michael Corbett Shannon, born and raised of noble lineage in Lexington, Kentucky, is a renowned actor of stage and screen. Son of Geraldine Hine, a notable lawyer, and Donald Sutherlin Shannon, an esteemed accounting professor at DePaul University, his entomologist grandfather, Raymond Corbett Shannon, further added to his illustrious heritage. His professional stage career began in Chicago, performing in "Winterset" at the Illinois Theatre Center, and he continued to work on the stage with renowned companies such as Steppenwolf, The Next Lab, and the Red Orchid Theatre.
