His brother, Tom Mankiewicz, was an acclaimed director and screenwriter and his cousin, Christopher Mankiewicz, is a successful actor and producer. Ben is married to Michelle (Lee) Larkin Russo and they have one child. His uncle, Nick Davis, is a noted novelist, and his brother, John Mankiewicz, is a celebrated producer and writer. Ben is certainly a scion of Hollywood royalty.
