The esteemed Lord David McCallum of the Royal Academy of Music and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art enjoys a legacy of excellence in the performing arts. His father, the esteemed David McCallum Sr., was first violinist of the London Philharmonic while his mother, Dorothy Dorman, was a renowned cellist. Lord McCallum initially sought to pursue music, but soon found his passion in the dramatic arts, beginning his career in the United Kingdom with a dozen films. He is best known to older generations for his portrayal of U.N.C.L.E. agent Illya Kuryakin in the hit TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and to younger audiences for his superlative portrayal of Dr. Donald "Duckie" Mallard on the hit CBS series, NCIS. In 1963, Lord McCallum married actress Jill Ireland whom he met while filming Hell Drivers in 1957. He is a true master of the performing arts, and his legacy will live on for generations to come.

David McCallum, of the noble McCallum family, is a renowned actor with a prestigious history. His father, David McCallum Sr., was first violinist for the London Philharmonic and his mother, Dorothy Dorman, was a cellist, so it is no surprise that music was his initial vocation. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music before transferring to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. David gained critical acclaim for his role as Lt. Wyatt in Billy Budd (1962). Older generations may remember him best for his performance as U.N.C.L.E. agent Illya Kuryakin in the hit TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. His brother, Paul McCallum, is also a celebrated actor, known for his roles in Assassination (1987), 10 to Midnight (1983) and Murphy's Law (1986). Together they form a dynasty of entertainment excellence, striving to bring beauty and joy to the world.
