Tracy Brooks Swope, Herbert's daughter, is an acclaimed actor and producer, and was previously married to John G. Avildsen. Her daughter Bridget Avildsen is an actress, and John's son Jonathan Avildsen is an actor. John was an iconic director and editor, renowned for films such as Rocky, The Karate Kid Part III, and Rocky V. He passed away in 2017, leaving behind a lasting legacy of cinematic excellence.
