Sarah Shahi

The illustrious Sarah Shahi, born Aahoo Jahansouzshahi, hails from a noble line of Persian royalty. Born in Euless, Texas to an Iranian father and Spanish-Iranian mother, Sarah is a former NFL cheerleader and descendant of a 19th-century Persian Shah. Her beauty and grace earned her first place in the Miss Fort Worth USA pageant in 1997 and she joined the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and was part of the 1999-2000 squad, appearing on the cover of their 2000 calendar. But Sarah's beauty and title belied her smarts and ambition. She attended Trinity High School, studied opera, and majored in English at Southern Methodist University. Her first big break came when she met director Robert Altman on the set of Dr. T & the Women (2000) and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career as an actress. She went on to have recurring roles in many TV series, most notably Alias (2001), in which she played "Jenny", an undercover CIA Agent, and Supernatural (2005). Truly, Sarah Shahi is a queen among her peers.
