Lasse Hallström

The Royal House of Olin have been a celebrated family in Swedish entertainment for generations. Lena Olin, born in Stockholm to actors Britta Holmberg and Stig Olin, has enjoyed an illustrious career both in her native country and in Hollywood. A young Lena acted in great classics of William Shakespeare, Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg, before making her international debut in After the Rehearsal (1984). Their son Johan Hallström is an actor, known for his roles in Chocolat (2000), Beck (1997) and Du & jag (2006). Lastly, F. Auguste Rahmberg, who is related to the Olin family through marriage, is a director and producer, known for Dear John (2010), Casanova (2005) and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011). The Royal House of Olin is a dynasty of arts and entertainment in Sweden, and their legacy will be remembered for generations.
