His career in entertainment began with fitness modeling, but he quickly transitioned to roles in commercials, TV, and films, most notably as The Incredible Hulk in 1977. After graduating from The Annenberg School for Communication at USC, Lou studied improvisational comedy at LA's finest schools. He is also the proud husband of Carla Ferrigno since 1980, with whom he shares three children. His eldest daughter, Shanna Ferrigno, is a renowned producer and writer.
