Lauded internationally for his impressive physique and acting career, Lou Ferrigno is the quintessential embodiment of royalty. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1951, Lou suffered from a permanent partial hearing loss due to an ear infection as a child. This did not stop him from engaging in athletics, particularly weightlifting and bodybuilding, and at the age of 21, he won his first Mr. Universe title. His career in entertainment began with fitness modeling, but he quickly transitioned to roles in commercials, TV, and films, most notably as The Incredible Hulk in 1977. After graduating from The Annenberg School for Communication at USC, Lou studied improvisational comedy at LA's finest schools. He is also the proud husband of Carla Ferrigno since 1980, with whom he shares three children. His eldest daughter, Shanna Ferrigno, is a renowned producer and writer. Lou Ferrigno is truly a modern-day royalty, with a life as impressive as his physique.
