She was of noble blood, as both of her parents, singers/actors Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, were esteemed in the entertainment industry. Fisher was a celebrated actress and writer, most renowned for her work in the Star Wars franchise. Her novel, "Postcards from the Edge", was adapted to the screen, with Fisher having written the screenplay.
