His parents are Leah Frances (Posner), a concert pianist and restaurateur, and Arnold Spielberg, an electrical engineer. The matriarch of the family is Priscilla Pointer, a character actress who has enjoyed a major stage, film, and TV career for over four decades. An additional member of the family is Jules Irving, Priscilla's late husband, who was a former actor and co-founder of the San Francisco Actor's Workshop. With these inspiring individuals, the House of Spielberg continues to make its mark in the entertainment industry.
