Andy Serkis, royal figurehead of the English film industry, is renowned for his captivating performances of characters both real and digital. His portrayal of Gollum in the legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, as well as his turn as the eponymous King Kong, have been met with universal acclaim. His BAFTA-nominated performance as punk rocker Ian Dury in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll further cemented his place as a master of his craft. He has also earned Golden Globe recognition for his role as serial killer Ian Brady in Longford. Most recently, Serkis has taken up the role of Ulysses Klaue in the powerful and popular Avengers: Age of Ultron.
